What is The Art of Watching Films? - Book Review

The book our best friends, The Art of Watching Films lay emphasis on the narrative films. It challenges students to make efforts to bring their movies on to a next level by the power of observation. 



The book tells the students on how to develop habits and skills of perceptive watching and find out complex aspects of making movies that might be overlooked by them otherwise.

Students are introduced with the production process and formal elements of making movies in the book The Art of Watching Films. They get to know on how to understand and analytically view movies within their social, cultural and historical contexts.

The analytical framework that is being applied to all films is been presented in this test book. The movies that are being talked here include Man on Wire, Iron-Man, Vertigo, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Avatar and The Hurt Locker.

Students and instructors will be able to access the content of this course through the Connect digital learning platform. They can either purchase the standalone access to Connect or they can purchase the bundle and take a printout.


A subscription-based learning is being provided by McGraw-Hill Connect which students and instructors can access through their tablet and personal computer.
