Books Our Best Friends - It helps in using our imaginative power

In my section – Books Our Best Friends, I like discussing about books that I have read or found them interesting. As a hobby, I like to share such books with you all.

When we are kids, we have fabulous imagination power. It is because our thought process is not affected by any preconceptions or assumption. The mind of a kid is free and so he is able to think and imagine in lot more ways than us. It is the best time to introduce books to kids, as they can learn fast. They should be encouraged to use their thought process as much as possible.

Today in my blog – Books Our Best Friends, I would like to discuss a book that enables them to use their imaginative power as much as possible. Crafts With Kids: Over 40 Fun And Fabulous Projects provides kids with an open playground to experiment with crayons, paints, fabrics, and other exciting materials.

When, we talk about open play ground, well, for kids, every place is a playground and every substance is a thing to be played with. They surely are going to learn many things, but from educational point of view Crafts With Kids: Over 40 Fun And Fabulous Projects will provide organized activity sessions. Parents should not think that there is nothing for them in this book.

In first case, guidance of parents will be needed to direct the activities of kids as they use this book. Second, parents can also try these projects, as it will be an interesting learning experience for them too. For small kids, everything is meant to be taken into mouth and crayons and colours are no exception.

It is best to introduce this book to kids who are around 15 months old or above, for they will be able to understand it the best way. Susie Johns, writer of Crafts With Kids: Over 40 Fun And Fabulous Projects, has done a wonderful work, as the activities given are not only enjoyable, but also provide valuable learning.

This book certainly supports the saying – Books Our Best Friends. For, this is one of those books which makes us a better person in one way or the other.

Books Our Best Friend

Friends are forever and it is certainly true for Books. You make them your companion once and they will be with you for life. Without second thought, Books are Our Best Friends. Technology has changed the form of books, now we can carry hundreds of books in our tablet or smart phone, but the charm of reading a traditional form of book is unique.

For me, I love books; I can spend countless number of hours in a library or a book shop. I like to go through anything on which I can get my hands on. When I read book, they not only entertain, educate and inform me, but they also give me peace of mind. I would say that everyone should form a habit of reading books, for at least half-hour daily. When you read, it is like doing meditation, it channelize your thoughts, provide you new ideas and calm you down. I would like to share some books, which are worth reading.

Recently, I came across an interesting book which solves dual purpose; even though it highlights the questions asked by small growing kids, but I guess it comes as a rescue for adults. As they are the ones who are faced with such questions and many a times get into an embarrassing situation. I am talking about Big Questions From Little People: And Simple Answers From Great Minds which is written by Gemma Elwin Harris.

A soft, simple, light-heart, yet informative book is Big Questions From Little People: And Simple Answers From Great Minds. This book is written for kids, and contains some unusual, yet obvious questions asked by them. As adults we have no time to think of such things, or never searched for answers. For example have you ever thought if there is still any living specie that is yet to be discovered? Or what do we have money? Or why and how elephants developed trunks?

Big Questions From Little People: And Simple Answers From Great Minds is one of those Books which can become Our Best Friend. Has your kid ever questioned as to why you or other adults are always in charge? If you didn't had any convincing answer, then a sensible way out is to appreciate the thinking ability of your kid.

All such perplexing questions are answered by experts from various fields, such as sportsmen, historians, philosophers, naturalists, archaeologists etc. This book can be quite informative for adults too, particularly for those whose small baby is growing up, as they will soon be bombarded by such questions.
