Book Review - A Life of Ulysses S. Grant

The book American Ulysses: A Life of Ulysses S. Grant is a biography of one of the greatest generals of America and also one of the most misunderstood presidents. The book has been written by the author of A. Lincoln, which has been New York Times bestseller.

During his time, Ulysses S. Grant was often put in the group of big three American leaders, along with George Washington and Abraham Lincoln. But the commander of battlefield and commander-in-chief lost support from people in the twentieth century.
In the book American Ulysses: A Life of Ulysses S. Grant, it has been urged by Ronald C. White that in the present century we should once again take a look at the perception that we have towards this great leader. This book has been written after a thorough research and study of main documents that went on for seven years.
Many of these documents were overlooked by previous scholars. It can easily be said that the book American Ulysses: A Life of Ulysses S. Grant will enable us to take a look at Grant in a different manner in this time. White has exceptional skills in penning down momentous history.
In the book American Ulysses: A Life of Ulysses S. Grant, Grant has been depicted as a curious, generous, introspective man and leader. Ulysses has a natural gift to manage people around him and was a willing delegator. Julia Dent Grant, wife of Ulysses Grant, who was long forgotten in the history books, has come out as an influential and spirited partner.
Grant was both a wonderful general and a passionate defender of equal rights in American post-Civil War. He took the office at White House in the year 1868 and used the federal government power to battle the Ku Klux Klan.
He was the first president who dared to claim that the policies of government towards American Indians are not moral. He was also the first ex-president who went on a word tour. He showed the world how courageous he is by fighting against his death to complete his Personal Memoirs.
Book Author
Ronald C. White has penned down three bestsellers on Abraham Lincoln, including the most recent, A. Lincoln. He has given lectures on Lincoln at hundreds of universities after earning his doctorate from Princeton.

The parents of the girl child, Kelley and Thomas French, both decided to fight for the life of Juniper. This book Juniper: The Girl Who Was Born Too Soon tells the whole journey about the fight of parents to save their daughter.

The writer of the book Impact: The Story of September 11 Terrorist Attacks moves from one story to another and from one person to the other. Some of the accounts detailed in the book are from primary source and there are some that are based on assumptions as well.

On August 31, 1997, a fatal car accident in Paris took away Princess Diana from among us. For a long time to come, it became a mystery as to what were the circumstances that lead to this death. Many conspiracies mushroomed out.

Some extremely incriminating evidences have been presented in the book “The Princess Diana Conspiracy: The Evidence of Murder” by Alan Power. By way of political intervention, paparazzi were kept away from the proceedings of the court. The decision to protect the identity of Princess Diana was taken at the diplomatic level.
It was proven that the course of justice was changed by MI6 and they were made to acknowledge that they murder people. At the time of inquest, the evidences presented by senior police officers were compared to get them straight. They sidestepped on numerous occasions when questions were put across them.
Both before and after the Paris attack, the authorities were examined. A question mark was put on the democracy of Britain and the evidence presented were quite disturbing. In case you share the view of this book, than this heinous act were considered quite intolerable.
The judgment on the murder of Princess Diana should have been given by someone who has considerable influence and power. So who took the big decision at this juncture?
After the tragic accident, authorities were made to cooperate into taking decision that prevent the identity of one family, putting aside the justice that should be served to general public. The democracy of Britain was clearly abused.
The book “The Princess Diana Conspiracy: The Evidence of Murder” by Alan Power presents the case of Diana’s Murder in a way that it should be presented by a neutral court. Diana was assassinated by murderous monsters to preserve the status quo. This was an act which the old KGB or the Nazi SS would have been proud of.
The act to suppress truth has changed from burning books to intimidating writer who want to present only the truth. Please read the book “The Princess Diana Conspiracy: The Evidence of Murder” by Alan Power and tell your verdict.
